Blue Grass appliance
A Bluegrass Appliance is a tongue thrust/ thumb sucking habit breaking appliance. During fabriaction we attach a wire extending from the bands on the first molars to the palatal anterior section. There is a plastic/acrylic wheel placed on the extended wire that is designed to stop thumb sucking and or tongue thrusting by spinning the wheel instead of performing the habbit.
