Hard night guard
The idea of the Hard nightguard is to act as a mechanical muscle relaxer for patients who are bruxing and teeth grinding and are designed to alleviate pain and prevent further destruction to the teeth. The Hard nightguard is be fabricated for the upper or lower arch with a flat acrylic plane and extends over the incisal edge covering the buccal aspect by 2mm with Ball Clasps for retention. Modifications can include the indentations in the acrylic plane of the teeth from the opposing arch to guide into the correct bite during wear.
